He was a WWII Navy veteran, a member of American Legion Post 81, owner of Dixie Equipment and was a member of Liberty First United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Eugene Dean officiating; burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home.
He was the son of the late Dolph and Katie Staley Lowe and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wade Hampton Lowe, Clyde P. Lowe and Nathaniel Lowe.
Frank is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ella Black Lowe; one brother, Howard Vance Lowe and many loving nieces and nephews.
