A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian, NC.
He was the son of the late Joe Grady and Hazel Staley Smith; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Apple Smith; and brother, W.D. Smith.
Doug is survived by his brother, Nelson Smith and his wife, Jerri.
