Craig was born to Betty Ore Davis Caviness and James Frankie “Buddy” Davis in Greensboro, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Anna Daniels Davis. They have two sons; James “Nick” Davis, Nathan Scott Davis both of the home and daughter; Olivia Nichole Davis also of the home.
Craig was a 1988 graduate of Eastern Randolph High School. Craig has always been a dedicated worker, which has shown since he started high school. He worked for the local Building Supply and saved his wages so he could start his journey to obtain his mechanic degree in Nashville. After high school he left to attend Nashville Auto Diesel Mechanic School, where he obtained a degree in automotive mechanics. He spent his life working for Crown Volvo for the past 32+ years.
Craig was known to all as a “family man”. He loved his wife and children and it showed through the years. From teaching the boys to ride dirt bikes, everyone how to cook- on and off the grill, always making a point to catch the next Marvel movie in theaters, to the awesome Daddy-Daughter dates to Olive Garden & shopping with Olivia. In his children’s eyes, “My Daddy taught me everything”. To his wife, he was everything and she will always remember the smile he often wore no matter the situation. He was a very social outgoing man who was always willing to help everyone, especially when it came to their automobiles. Craig was a great husband, father and son who will be missed by all.
