A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 W. Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation following the memorial service.
He was the son of the late Odell and Mary Henrietta Wright Routh and was also preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Coltrane.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Linda Hunt Routh; daughter, Carolyn Alverson and her husband, Bert; grandson, Michael Alverson and his wife, Michelle; granddaughter, Ashlynn Alverson Rierson and her husband, Caleb; great-grandchildren, Hayden Alverson and Canaan Rierson; nephew, Chad Coltrane and his wife, Kelli.
