He was born at his family home on August 8, 1921 and was married to Celeste Howser Causey, his devoted wife, for 64 years.
Clark was a life long resident of Guilford County where he farmed with his brother, Rolland, his son, Brian, and his grandson, Daniel on the farm established by his father in 1901. He was a versatile mechanic and accomplished repairman. Clark was elected to and served on the Guilford County Soil and Water Conservation Committee for ten years.
Clark lived his life in devotion to helping others; whether producing food, protecting the land, helping a neighbor gather their crops, repairing a piece of equipment or offering up a joke, his aim was always to give. He will live on in the hearts and memories of many who where enriched by his kindness, generosity, intelligence and wit.
Along with his wife Celeste, Clark is survived by his children Steve (Gwenne); Jan Rusenko (Bob); Brian (Donna); and Linda; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sister Mitchie Hall; many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend Byard Humble.
He has been welcomed to heaven by his father Jesse Clark Sr, his mother Mollie Richardson Causey, brothers Joseph and Rolland, sisters Margaret, Rebecca, Katherine, Dell and Marti.
