

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Eula Mae Routh Lineberry and was also preceded in death by her husband, U. Grant Smith and two brothers, Harold and Stuart Lineberry.
Joyce is survived by two daughters, Sherry Smith Mead of High Point and Marla Smith Zappia of Liberty; one son, Randy Smith (Debbie) of Randleman; two sisters, Eloise Shives (Gene) of Climax and Ida Lee Brown of Randleman; three brothers, James Lineberry (Teen) of Julian, Donald Lineberry (Pam) of Climax and Gary Lineberry (Kay) of Climax; five grandchildren, Brian Mead, David Smith, Lauren Neff, Andrew Mead and Michael Zappia; one great-granddaughter, Gracie Neff and one sister-in-law, Sue Lineberry.
At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Randolph Hospice House, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203 or Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, 5056 NC Hwy 22 N., Franklinville, NC 27248.
