Lorene Hudson Staley Gilmore

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in the Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Lorene is the daughter of the late Hurley Thomas Staley and Elmettie Hudson Staley and was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn G. Gilmore, Jr.; her daughter, Bonnie S. Klinker; grandson, Lucas Graham Layton; and brothers, Wilson B. Staley and Virgil T. Staley.

Surviving is her daughter, Vickie Gilmore Layton of Julian; son-in-law, Dwight Klinker; granddaughters, Heather Waits and her husband, Jayson; Cheryl Klinker and Lana Elizabeth-Glenn Layton; great-granddaughters, Abigail and Madison Waits and special nephew, Bryan Staley.
