A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.
Surviving is her husband, Leslie “Bud” Kidd of Liberty; daughters, Brenda Kidd of Coleridge, Belinda Butcher of Gibsonville, Teresa Elson of Joshua, TX and Tammy Manning of Lexington; sons, David Childers of Gibsonville, Jamey Childers of Liberty, and Wayne “Ruffin” Kidd of Liberty; brother, Steve Dowd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, 3420 Shamrock Road, Charlotte, NC 28215.
