Michael Preston Lawson Sr.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21 at 2 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Preston and Pearl Rochelle Lawson.

Surviving is his wife Peggy Ann Champney Lawson; daughters, Michell (Marty), Renee Medlin (Keith), Annette Eidson (Jeff), and Dee Coble (Craig); sons, Michael Preston Lawson, Jr. (Amie) and Dwaynne Champney (Sunshine); sisters, Donna Flinchum, Patricia Laverty, Tonia Patterson, and Denise Coble (Allen); brother, Rusty Lawson; grandchildren, Renee and Isac Boston, Kandis and Matthew Medlin, Joshua and Preston Eidson, Shannon, Nathan and Jacob Lawson, Autumn and Devon Champney, Daniel, Aliyah and Bryleigh Coble, and Cierra and Dylan Casey and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Jackson Boston.
