Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, R. Paul O’Briant; brothers, Joe, Glen, Earl, Bernice, Lloyd, and Gene Graves; and sisters, Opal Russell and Kate Smith. Surviving is her son, Allen O’Briant of Asheboro; daughter, Ellen O’Briant Burwell and her husband Jim, of Greensboro; grandson, John Paul Burwell, of Greensboro; and sister, Grace Rollins.
The family would like to thank the friends, caregivers, doctors, and nurses for the love and care they have shown Nancy over the years; especially Susan Lento, Dawn Chounaird, Kim Foland, and the compassionate caregivers of Heartland Living and Rehabilitation in Greensboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W. Lilburn, GA 30047; Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405; or Hospice of Randolph County, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
