Robert Scott Hodgin

Scott was a member of Smithwood Christian Church where he played the piano in his earlier years. He was a member of the 1993 graduating class of South East Guilford High School. He enjoyed bowling, playing tennis, cooking and playing and singing music. Scott was a big fan of Carolina Tar Heels.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday evening, September 13, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. at Smithwood Christian Church, 6809 Kimesville Road, Liberty, NC with Pastor Derrick Smith officiating.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cecil "Speedy" Hodgin, Jr.

Scott is survived by his mother, Alice Faye Lineberry Hodgin and brother, Michael L. Hodgin.

Scott's family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the kind and caring staff at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro.
