

Teresa Ann DeLeo, age 104, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, in Graham, North Carolina. Prior to living in North Carolina she resided in Florida. Born on September 11, 1921, in Milford, Connecticut, she lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and service.
The daughter of James and Mary (Gentile) Faia, Teresa grew up in Milford and attended Walnut Beach Grammar School before graduating from Milford High School. Her early years were shaped by a strong sense of community and devotion to her family.
Teresa dedicated her professional life as an administrative assistant at Reliable Steele Drum in Milford until her retirement.
A devoted member of Saint Gabriel’s and Saint Mary’s Catholic Churches, Teresa’s faith remained a guiding force throughout her life.
She shared many cherished years with her beloved husband, Philip Joseph DeLeo, who preceded her in death. Together they raised three children: Mary Ann Keeler (and husband Leonard), Michael Alan DeLeo (and wife Jacqueline), and Natalie Rose DeLeo, who also preceded her in death. Teresa found great joy in the lives of her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Virginia Allen. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Mancini and Lydia Reysen.
A gifted cook with a generous heart, Teresa found happiness preparing meals for family and friends. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and laughter, filled with the comforting aromas of home-cooked dishes.
Teresa's legacy is one of enduring love, resilience, and devotion. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
