Teresa loved her family and friends and being with them. She enjoyed watching the cows in the pasture. Taylor, Jodie and Snowflake, her beloved four-legged companions, were her babies and she missed them dearly.
She was the daughter of the late Harvey Lee Whitaker and Carroll Jean Simmons and was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David Allison.
Surviving is her daughter, Ashley McLeod; son, Tommy McLeod; sisters, Gail Allison, Sherry Phillips, and Ronda Robinson (Kenny); brother, Danny Whitaker (Nancy); and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park, 6500 Liberty Road, Julian, NC.
