Thelma Garner Lineberry

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Rocky River Friend Meeting, 1795 Staley Snow Camp Rd, Siler City.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Solomon and Daisy Garner; husband, Homer Lineberry; son, John "Jackie" Stevenson Laun; brother, Wilber Garner; and nephew, Danny Garner.

She is survived by stepchildren, Russell Lineberry, Randy Lineberry, Ronald Lineberry and Deborah Lineberry Brower; grandchildren, Megan Johnson, Hannah Cochrane, Clint Lineberry and Courtney Lineberry; nieces, Connie Leonard (Harry) and Joyce Craig (Gary); nephew, Grant Garner (Mary).

When she was able, Thelma attended Holly's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Liberty before she moved to Salisbury. She enjoyed making homemade cakes and biscuits for everyone to enjoy. She especially loved spending time with her dogs, which kept her going strong during her later years.
