

Utah was a man of God who loved people; he was the pastor and founder of Julian Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Brown’s Plants and Produce. He loved and cared for his family, as husband, father, and Paw-Paw. He had a passion for farming which he did for many years. He touched many lives as he sold plants and produce caring for each person he interacted with.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 4:00 pm at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; officiated by Wayne Tuttle; burial will follow in Gilmore Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, May 29, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Utah was the son of the late James Arville and Minnie Leola Brown and was also preceded in death by his son, Fred Thomas Brown, Sr.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Erma Fay Lucas Brown; sons, Utah Brown, Jr. of Liberty and James Timothy Brown (LuAnn) of Liberty;
Daughter-in-law, Anna P. Brown-Joyce; sister, Jeanette Cox (John Allen) of Climax; three grandchildren, Fred Thomas Brown, Jr., Joshua Martin Brown (Kati) and Brandon Aaron Brown; two great-grandchildren, Camden Timothy Brown and Gracin Hunter Brown.
