Wade Thomas Tinnin

He was a lifelong member of St. Stephen AME Church where he served on the Trustee Board, Sons of Allen Choir, and was named St. Stephen AME Church Man of the Year in 1995. He served in many other capacities of the church.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Stephen A.M.E. Church with Pastor Kevin M. Odom officiating; burial will follow in St. Stephen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Wade was the son of the late Roy and Catherine Jeffries Tinnin and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Tinnin Jeffries and Alease Tinnin Jeffries; and three brothers, Melvin Tinnin, Brach Tinnin and Benny Tinnin.

Surviving is his cherished wife of 55 years, Josephine Gales Tinnin; daughter, Tina Louise Bobo; sister, Jackie Tinnin Tyner; two brothers, Wallace Tinnin and Ronald Tinnin; granddaughter, Sidney Bobo; sister-in-law, Dare Tinnin; and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen AME Church, PO Box 705, Liberty, NC 27298.
