William Luke Gaddis

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Coble’s Lutheran Church, 5200 Coble Church Road, Julian, NC with Rev. Joseph A. Miller officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors rendered by the Randolph County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.

Bill was the son of the late Charles and Vista Viola Meadows Gaddis and was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Mary Shoffner Gaddis of the home; daughters, Brenda Cagle of Waynesville, April Gaddis of the home, and Yvonne Wilson of Liberty; sons, Terry Brown of Greensboro and Billy Gaddis of Julian; sisters, Barbara Jean Martin of Liberty and Peggy Sue Norris of Burlington; brothers, Tommy Gaddis of Liberty and Robert Gaddis of Elizabethtown; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
