Carmen was born to parents Lester Brown and Ethel Simmonds in Kingston, Jamaica on December 24 1931.
She leaves to mourn her passing daughter's, Valerie Williams and Beverly Lawrence-Smith; son's, Anthony Lawrence and Michael Lawrence; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other sorrowing family and friends.
