Denise Vazquez Cochran

Denise graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School, attended The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and went on to be a professional award-winning photographer in South Florida, NY, Washington, DC and Los Angeles, as well as a model scout for the NEXT agency.

Her love of fashion, photography, art and design continued throughout her life; most recently as owner of Vintage Mid Century Furnishings.

Denise married Cyril Bradly Cochran on June 16, 1990, a loving husband by her side throughout her courageous fight. They have two children, Sophia Lia Cochran, soon to attend UF and Gavin Bradley Cochran attending FSU.

She is also survived by her parents, Feliciano and Lia Vazquez; sisters, Cristina Keogh and Lia Dismuke; and brothers, Marcello and George Vazquez; and her beloved dog Toby as well as countless nieces, nephews and friends. Denise will always be remembered for her generous heart, great humor and love of life, and Jesus, where we know she now abides peacefully in His presence. Her greatest accomplishments, she would say, are her children and the wonderful young adults they have become. You will be missed sweet Denise, but we are filled with joy you are set free.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Church, 4845 N.E. 25th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL. A wake will be held Friday May 4th from 5-8 p.m. at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 4650 N. Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL. 33064.

She will be laid to rest at City of Pompano Beach Cemetery.
