Dennis J. Thresher, Jr

Dennis was born in Connecticut and attended Central Connecticut State University where he received a marketing degree. He was the manager for 8 years at the Enfield Dairy Queen which his parents owned. He later moved to Florida and began a lifelong career as a Financial Crimes Investigator, Bureau of Financial Investigations, with the State of Florida. He was a Certified Fraud Examiner, something he took great pride in. Upon his retirement, he did real estate appraisals and gave guitar music lessons. He loved a swim in his condo pool and chatting with his neighbors.

Dennis is survived by his brother Gary Thresher, his sister Cheryl Turgeon, his brother in law John Turgeon along with his special god daughter Kaylene Turgeon and niece Karly Turgeon. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents SSGT Dennis J Thresher, Sr and Jean Fields Thresher. In addition, he left several law enforcement brothers, family, and friends and neighbors of Admiralty Towers condo neighbors.

There will be a Celebration of Life service for Dennis at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 731 N Ocean Blvd, in Pompano Beach, Florida on Saturday, July 13th at 11:00 am. All are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
