Gail Markey

Gailanne was born in Meriden, CT to the late Alexander and Bernadette Patla on August 8th, 1961. Her family moved to South Florida in the 1960’s where she attended Pompano Beach High School. She went on from high school into hospitality and most recently a homemaker, where she spent her time baking and enjoying time with friends and family. She had a love not only her family, but a deep love for her animals and the Miami Dolphins.

She was married to the love of her life Robert Markey for the past 29 years. She was a loving mother of two children. She leaves a daughter, Jennifer Lopez; son Johnathen Warren and his wife Rebecca, grandchildren Nathaniel, Isabelle, and Henry Warren. She was also an adoring sister of Donna McCostlin, late Andrew, and Jeffrey Patla.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Sunday July 2nd, 2023, at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services with Father Ric Riccardi, officiating. A viewing will precede at 10:00 am with graveside services and burial will at the Deerfield Beach Memorial Cemetery, 404 N.E. 6th Ave. Deerfield Beach, FL. 33441 following the funeral service.
