2do. Lucha diferente para conseguir algo que no has tenido, haz algo que nunca has hecho.
3ro.
Papá Dios, te entregamos a Gustavito, hijo, hermano, tío, padrino y amigo querido.
Descansa en paz hermano amado, vuela alto y no te detengas.
Duerme como Rey, Gustavo Alberto, te amamos.
Gustavo Alberto Frías known among his friends as “La Cherna”, “La Chernita”
He was born on March 27, 1976 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and died, at just 48 years of age, on June 11, 2024 in the city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Gustavo loved being Amaury's son, he was her “moñiñingui”, she was his queen and he called her the real boss, the matron, “gorda”, mami.
He was proudly Dominican, extremely loyal, he loved his family and friends with the passion of the Greek gods and Gazcue was his Olympus.
In Gazcue he met his lifelong friends. At Loyola he found his second crop of loyalists.
Gustavo was a lover of life and consumed it at such rapid pace that only God knew why. He had to be and do everything now because tomorrow did not exist.
Yes, he had strong passions because he wanted to solve everything now.
His Herculean bearing, his voice like lightning in a storm shielded his nobility and tenderness.
Gustavo, you went into the universe with the firm wings of angels. We would have liked those wings to be made of wax like Icarus’ wings so that they would melt when approaching the sun and you would return to earth with your loved ones, but that was not the case, you continued to be the first of Amaury's children to get to heaven.
Your legacy of love is immense among your family and friends because you have left us an example of loyalty and generosity that gives us the certainty that you have seen the face of God.
The miracle of love and union were fulfilled with your maturity and your devotion to your family.
Dear Gustavo, we will follow your philosophy of life that we will carry as commandments:
1st. Love life. You said that life is beautiful you just have to adapt.
2nd. Fight differently to get something you haven't had, do something you've never done.
3rd. Appreciate people. Money comes and goes, the person is more important.
And we add your 4th. commandment: Live to give everything to your Mother. She, who was your north and you, who always will be, her “moñiñingui”, her baby, her youngest child.
Father God, we give you Gustavito, son, brother, uncle, godfather and dear friend.
Rest in peace beloved brother, fly high and don't stop.
Sleep like a King Gustavo Alberto, we love you.
