

“Jimmy” was born on March 13, 1950 to Harold and Betty Bayer in Washington, D.C. Raised in Rochester, NY he later graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from University of Dayton in Ohio. He went to work in the automotive industry followed by a move to South Florida where he became a financial advisor.
While in Rochester, he met Judith Henbest, married, and they went on to have three children, Christopher, Jeremy and Matthew.
In 2008, Jimmy retired, moving back to New York where he spent time playing golf, skiing, and working on their Elmira, NY farm. He later moved back to South Florida, where he enjoyed the warm weather and spending quality time with his three grandchildren, Charlie, Amelia and June.
Jimmy was predeceased by his wife, Judith Bayer and son, Jeremy Bayer. He is survived by his 2 sons, Christopher Bayer and Matthew Bayer, as well as his siblings, Gail Bayer-McCarthy, Pamela Bayer, Peggy Fusco, Micheal Bayer, Mark Bayer, Julie Wegman, Craig Bayer, and Lisa Bayer-Freida.
Services will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Lighthouse Point, FL on Saturday, November 18, at 9:30 am.
