

Patricia McDonald Cornetta was called home to be with the Lord and join her husband Joseph, daughter Lisa, mother and father in heaven on January 22, 2023.Born in Piermont on October 10th, 1935, Pat was a beloved wife, mother, and businesswoman where she lived for many years raising her children with her beloved husband Joe Cornetta. Pat and her husband Joe built Cornetta's Restaurant and Marina, a landmark and staple of the community where they ran it with their family and friends until 1978. Throughout her life, Pat was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her community. The couple eventually made Boca Raton, Florida their permanent home, coming back a few times to open several restaurants in New York and Florida. Pat was a role model to many and will always be remembered for her positive impact on the lives of those around her. Nothing was more important to Pat than her children and family. Pat taught her children life lessons of faith, hard work, gratitude, kindness, integrity, honesty and compassion. Her children were blessed to have her as their mother, and she will be missed by those who knew her. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cornetta, daughter Lisa Petrone and is survived by daughter Patricia Storey (Julian)Anita Cornetta, and John Cornetta (Ludmila) and Grandchildren Dominique, Theo, Lindsey, Nick, Joseph, Sarah, Victoria, Johnny and Sophia. She is also survived by her sister Janet, sister in-law Adel (Sandy) and many loving nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services located in Lighthouse Point, FL. A funeral mass will be held on Friday February 3, 2023 at 9:30am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach, FL. In Lieu of Flowers in remembrance of Pat Cornetta's life the family asks that you make any charitable donations to Alzheimer's Association or Vitas Hospice. Pat’s memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the legacy she leaves behind.”
