September 10, 1937 - August 18, 2022, Age 84
Returned to God after a short battle with cancer.
Paul was a disciple of Jesus from a very early age and continued helping people throughout his life. He graduated from Arlington HS in 1955, and continued studies at Tufts College in 1959 earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Santos designed defense, communication, vision and display systems at many firms, including Republic Aviation and Aviation Electronics in Long Island, NY, Stromberg-Carlson in Rochester, NY, and Kollsman, Inc. in Merrimack, NH. He was a runner and an athlete who skied, played hockey, tennis, golf, softball, and other various sports for leisure.
Retiring at 58, Paul moved to Florida residing in Hillsboro Beach. He became an avid tennis player and snorkeler. He looked forward to being with his friends on the tennis courts every day at 7am. Paul loved swimming with turtles, manatees, and various fish at different reefs. He also loved God and faithfully read scripture the first thing every morning. He enjoyed attending services and participating in Bible study groups. During the pandemic and while ill, Paul practiced his faith watching services, reading and discussing the Bible with family and friends, and continuing God's work of helping others. Ask him about his favorite "3-knocks" mama turtle story, his barracuda story, a particular company stock, or the meaning of a particular scripture, and his face would light up with excitement.
Survived by son Bill (Marina) Santos of Rochester, NY, and grandson Will Santos of Syracuse, NY; predeceased by sister Dorothy Gray; survived by brother Richard (Kathy, predeceased) Santos of Harwichport, MA; sister Ruth (Chuck) Moore of Deerfield Beach, FL; sister Mary Ellen (Malcolm) Donald of Falmouth, MA. Paul was fortunate to have a large, loving family with many nieces and nephews.

Per Paul's wishes and his love of the sea, his ashes will be scattered in the ocean at a private gathering on a future date.
Paul supported many charities throughout his life. Recent donations included Mercy Ships, Samaritan's Purse (Ukrainian efforts), Salvation Army World Service (Ukrainian efforts), and his local Boca Raton Community Church. If you would like to make a donation in Paul's memory, please send to any of those listed, or to your favorite charity.
