

Peter was born on an air force Base in Rantoul, Ill. November 5th, 1953, He grew up in Brooklyn and Queens, New York City. In his early years, he was involved in a rock band called “The Rites of Mercy”. Later, he was part of another group called, “Smoke” and played heavy rock. After, he became a folk singer and played in Greenwich Village.
Peter came to know the Lord after his family moved to South Miami in the early 1970’s. He led his family to the Lord shortly after. He decided to study the Bible and give his life to full time ministry in 1975. He met his wife, Janis at Bible school and they got married in April 18th, 1976.
In 1977, Peter and Janis moved to Chicago to start full time ministry at American Messianic Fellowship. While there, the Lord blessed them with 2 children, Sarah and Daniel. In 1985 they began ministry with The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and moved to Boca Raton, FL.
Peter received his Doctor of Ministry Degree in 1996. His main interests were ancient manors and customs. He also studied and participated in archeological digs in Israel. Using his talents and interests he created various Biblical and historical presentations to share the gospel. In 2009 he completed research and filming of the “Rossvally: From the Synagog to the Savior” movie (RossvallyTheMovie.com) He taught at a Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary in Miami for over 25 years.
Peter is survived by his wife, Janis and children, Sarah and Daniel and 5 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 4650 N Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064, on January 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
The committal service will take place at an external service location at 380 SE 6th Ave, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441, starting at 1:30 pm on January 23, 2026.
