Richard Arnold Loop, III

On Friday November 29, 2019, The Lord has called upon one of his children, Richard Arnold Loop, III of Pompano Beach, Florida. He was a wise, heroic and loving young man with a heart of gold.  He enjoyed life for 55 years here on earth.   

Born and raised in New Jersey, Rich moved to South Florida in 1989 where he wanted a good life for his family. He has been working for Pompano Beach Ocean Rescue for the past 15+ years.  Over the years he has put a footprint in this community and to many he was known as “Tractor”. He enjoyed keeping the community safe and people smiling. 

He is the loving father of Krystal Loop (Chad Doane), Justin Loop (Nikki Amendolaro) and Richard Loop IV (Sophie Nathan). Brother of Christopher Loop and the late Susan Loop. Grandfather of Richard, V, Amaya, Elyssa, Giabella and Mason. He also leaves behind his best friend and former wife, Mary Loop.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 4650 N. Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064. Where a service to Celebrate Rich's Life will commence at 7:00 p.m. A Paddle-Out Ceremony will follow on Sunday December 15th at 6:30am at the Pompano Beach Pier as a tribute to Richard's service in Ocean Rescue. The public welcomed to attend.
