

Bate “Big Buck” Lemaster, Jr., 67, of McGuffey, died at 1:46 a.m., Saturday, March 13, 2010, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born Feb. 24, 1943, in Lima, to Bate and Opal (Gibson) Lemaster, Sr. who are both deceased. On April 7, 1988, he married Patricia Duncan who survives.
Mr. Lemaster was a long-haul truck driver. He had been a member of the National Guard. He loved to play cards, especially poker in Las Vegas.
Also surviving are 4 sons: James Allen Lemaster of Phoenix, Joshua Lemaster and Andrew Sharp both of Lima, and Bate Lemaster, III, of McGuffey; 3 daughters: Lisa Blankenship of Michigan, Aimee Duncan of Lima and Bridget Lemaster at home; six sisters: Margaret (Willard) Brown of New Hampshire, OH, Dora (Herbert) Funk of Virginia, Mary (Mike) Stephens of Texas, Janet (Rob) Dotson of Fostoria, Anita (Ron) Lutz and Shirley Lemaster both of Lima; three brothers: Donald (Lisa) Lemaster and Johnny (Sue) Lemaster both of Lima and Ronnie (Nancy) Lemaster of Texas and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jimmy Brown and a niece, Onica Baker.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on March 17, 2010 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, with Brother Arnold Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Hills Cemetery, New Hampshire.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
