Beatrice A Wingate Cattell

Beatrice A. Cattell, age 88, of Lima, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Baton Rouge Health Services Community. She was born on October 25, 1922 in Lima, Ohio to the late Martin and Frieda (Weierman) Wingate. Beatrice married Lawrence D. Cattell who passed away on November 14, 1989.

Beatrice attended Northwestern Business School, was a homemaker and had worked at Metropolitan Bank. She was a former member of Harrod Christian Church.

She is survived by her children: Hal D. Cattell of Lima, Jerry R. Cattell of Elida and Jean A. Cattell of Grove City; 2 grandchildren: Jerry L. (Tiffany) Cattell and Thomas P. (Amanda) Cattell; a special daughter: Toni Cattell of Del Ray Beach, Florida and a sister: Winifred A. Binkley of Lima.

Along with her parents and husband she is preceded in death by siblings: Edna I. Carnes, Martin J. Wingate, Jr., and Pauline A. Arthur.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Allison officiating. Burial will follow in Cairo East Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Road.
