Carole L. Buckingham Woods

Carole L. Woods, 72 of Lima passed away at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at St. Rita’s Hospice. She was born on March 17, 1941 in Lima to John and Mary (Allemang) Buckingham and they precede her in death. On May 20, 1966 she married Eugene Woods and he passed away May 4, 2005.

She is survived by her children, Eugene “J.R.” (Donna) Woods, Jr. of Spring Lake, Michigan, John (Patty) Woods of Lima, Susan (Mike) Kitchen of Byrdstown, Tennessee and Larry (Marlene) Tidd of Delphos, Ohio. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Ann Johnston of Perrysburg. Carole was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Buckingham.

Mrs. Woods retired February 2013 as a Legal Assistant for Huffman, Kelley, Brock and Gottschalk, Attorneys. She was a member of South Side Christian Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and wonderful friend to all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Pastor Wanda Werking, officiating.
