

Chevon Letrice Cunningham, 27 of Lima went home to be with the Lord at 2:24 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. She was born on September 15, 1988 in Lima to Nina Cunningham and Willie Whiteside, who survive.
Chevon received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Cincinnati. She loved shopping, had a passion for fashion, enjoyed decorating and possessed genuine care, concern and compassion for others. She dearly loved her family and friends.
Miss Cunningham leaves to cherish her precious memory her son, Zion Cunningham of Lima, her siblings, Derek Cunningham of Cincinnati, Jalisha Henry, Darnesha James, A’Nieca James, Jamal Whiteside, Kahlil Whiteside, Denzel Mills and Walik Whiteside all of Lima. She also leaves behind special Aunts, Camille “TeeTee” McDonald of Atlanta, GA, Toni Buycks of Dayton, nieces, A’Nya and Ka’Myla James. She also leaves behind special lifelong friends Arteria (Brandon) Norman and Stephanie Varshay, and goddaughter, Cailey Norman along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Charlene (James) McDonald and Grandmother Betty Cash.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 10 from 2-8 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME. Home Going Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Second Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Dennis Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
