

Darlene M. Kinkle, 74 of Lima passed away 4:15 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born on March 9, 1938 in Evansport, Ohio to Joseph C. & Blanchie (Hancock) Shibler and they preceded her in death. On August 23, 1958 she married Russell E. Kinkle and he survives her.
She is also survived by her children, Andrew (Yvonne) Kinkle and Anthony (Donna) Kinkle both of Sidney, Anita Thornton of Sunland, CA, Amanda (Bicknell) Kinkle of Lima and Alan (Anna) Kinkle of Dry Prong, LA; her grandchildren, Angela, Anthony and Brian Kinkle, Shane Thornton and Heather Gordon, Forest, Cody and Kyle Bicknell, Russell and Christian Kinkle, Brent Wille and Tara Hull, Robbie and Brandon David and Holly Huff; she was also survived by her fourteen great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kinkle was preceded in death by her siblings, Louella Harrod, Joseph and Dean Shibler and two grandchildren: Crystal Bicknell and Brad Wille.
Darlene was a mother and a homemaker. She was a 1956 graduate of Lima Senior High School, she was a life member of the VFW Post 1275 Auxiliary, a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 199, she had also been a member and the secretary for over 20 years at the Fraternal Order Orioles Nest 173 Auxiliary where she had served as the Supreme Past President.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, December 18 from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Women of the Moose will have a memorial service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
