Joanne Lou Collier

Joanne Collier, 84, formerly of Lima, presently of Clarkston, Michigan passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Autumn Ridge Assisted Living Center. She was born November 26, 1928 in North Baltimore, Ohio to William and Flora (Sprague) Huffman and they preceded her in death. On June 11, 1950, she married Richard H. Collier and he passed away August 30, 2005.

Mrs. Collier is survived by her children, Kim Boose of Clarkston, Michigan, Joni Beaman of Klamath Falls, Oregon, John (Nadine) Collier of North Muskegon, Michigan; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Along with her parents, and her spouse, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Franklin.

She had been a member of the Lima Trinity United Methodist Church, and had been a member of the Indian Lake Yacht Club. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. a.t Siferd-Orians Funeral Home 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima, Ohio.
