Karen Sue Flory Foster

Karen Sue Foster, 57 of Harrod, died at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the ER of Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was born in Lima on February 27, 1956 to Norman and Vera (Mellon) Flory, and they preceded her in death. On July 25, 1973, she married Daniel Jay Foster and he survives her.

She is also survived by her six children, Staci (Gregory) Dotson of Waynesfield, Jeremy (Melissa) Foster and Julie (Daniel) Von Stein both of Findlay, Sarah (Ben) Wightman of Waynesfield, Andrew Foster of Harrod and Skyler Foster of Lima. She is survived by her grandchildren: Cody, Devyn, Noah and Lucas Dotson, Bryce Foster, Jaxton Wightman and a precious baby ‘on the way’; she is also survived by her sister Sherry Steger of Peru, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

Karen was a 1974 graduate of Lima Senior High School. Karen was a wonderful wife, mother and devoted grandmother. She was employed as a Medical Transcriptionist for Nuance Healthcare. For many years, Karen was very involved with the Allen East Marching Band.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Seiberling officiating. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home 506 N.Cable Rd. Lima, Ohio.
