

Leona Elenor Drew, of Lima, died at 7:10 a.m., Sunday, August 12, 2012, at Baton Rouge Health Services. She was born in Ottawa, Ohio, to Frank E. and Ethel (Salsbury) Kindle who preceded her in death. She married John W. Drew who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Drew retired from the cafeteria of Bath Schools. She was a soldier of the Salvation Army and a member of the Ladies Home League of the Salvation Army.
Surviving are three daughters: Shirley (Bob Bridenstine) Drew and Betty (Edwin Linke) Burkholder both of Ruskin, FL and Jane (Byron) Staley of Sun City Center, Fl; a son, Dan Hirt of Dayton; two sisters, Annabelle Peterson and Florence Hudson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
At the request of Mrs. Drew, there will be no visitation or services. She will be cremated and a family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
