Mary Lee Walter

Mary Lee Walter, 82, of Lima, passed away Thursday April 30, at her residence. She was born on December 27, 1932 in Dubuque, Iowa to Edgar R. & Mae Ann (Noonan) Bladel and they preceded her in death. On February 16, 1952, she married Roy A. Walter and he died September 5, 1984.

Mary Lee is survived by her children, Marilyn (Tom) Askins of Elida, William E. (Susan) Walter of Lima, Christine Walter of Richwood, Ohio and Patrick (Rachel) Walter of Lima. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, her brother: John P. (Dianne) Bladel of Greensboro, NC and a nephew, Jack Bladel also of Greensboro.

Mrs. Walter had been a homemaker, she was a corporate executive for Walter Associates. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and viewing movies.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio with burial to follow in Gethsemani Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, May 4th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME with a parish rosary being said at 7:30 in the funeral home.
