

Ozella A. Frieson, 90, died at 9:14 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born Oct. 17, 1921, in Yazoo City, Miss., to Willie and Annie (Lane) Fisher who preceded her in death. On Aug. 8, 1942, she married Cleon Frieson, who died Nov. 2, 1990.
Mrs. Frieson retired after 20 years at Westinghouse Small Motor Division. She was a member of New Hope Christian Center. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and AGLOW. She was saved when she was ten years old. She was a fantastic cook, a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved to watch golf on television.
Surviving are seven children: Cleora A. Inglés of Columbus, Vera Louise Hurd of Anchorage, AK, Robert D. (Ann) Frieson of Lima, Wesley F. (Jean) Frieson of Elida, Annette M. (Arnaldo) Ortiz of Columbus, Stella M. (Byron) Selden of Elida and John F. (Vanessa) Frieson of Columbus; nineteen grandchildren: Augusto (Gertrude) Inglés, Faustina Inglés, Guy “Joey” (April) Hurd, April Hurd, Angela Steele, Robert Frieson, Abram (Beth) Frieson, David Frieson, Rebecca Frieson, Wesley Frieson II, Christopher Frieson, Jeffery Frieson, Adam Frieson, Derek Frieson, Michael (Lisa) Curry, Brittney (Damien) Donovan, Felicia Frieson, John Frieson, Jr., and Joneisha Frieson and seventeen great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Ella Ree Petty and Geneva Lowe both of Lima, Ollie Fisher of Los Angeles, Annabelle Key, Roseanna Johnson and Charlie Fisher all of Lima.
She was preceded in death by the following siblings: Willie W. Fisher, Moses Fisher, Lula Lowe and Joe L. Fisher.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, at New Hope Christian Center. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m., at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, Lima.
