

Robert Dale Jolliff, 68, of Lima, died at 5:04 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 5, 2017 at his home. He was born Dec. 8, 1948, in Lima to Dwight D. and Goldie G. (Bosserman) Jolliff who preceded him in death. On Apr. 25, 1970, he married Carolyn J. Cox who survives.
Also surviving are three children: Nikki E. Boyed of Pandora, Robert D. (Cindy) Jolliff, II of Celina and Andrew P. (Trisha) Jolliff of Choctaw, OK; eight grandchildren: Terra, Amanda, Shelby, Alyssa, Robbie, Emma, Adyson and Raegen; a great-grandson, Maxton; and three sisters: Tina Pack, Mary Leidel and Lisa (Brian) Mason all of Lima.
Mr. Jolliff retired from the Lima Ford Engine Plant after 38 years of service in the skilled trades. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 96. He enjoyed camping at the Maumee River, a devoted Chicago Cubs fan but, he loved his family first and foremost.
Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Mar. 11, 2017, at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m., in the funeral home. The dress code is Cubs’ gear/casual.
