

Ruby M. Wilson, 75 of Lima, passed away Wednesday evening, March 28, 2012 at St Rita’s Medical Center. She was born on March 10, 1937 in Surry County, N.C. to Arvil and Clara (Ayers) Darnell who preceded her in death. On August 8, 1969 she married Terry L. Wilson, Sr. and he passed away on December 29, 2008.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her children, Terry L. (Gracia) Wilson, Jr of Savannah, Georgia and Alan R. Wilson of Lima; a grandchild, Belen Wilson, her siblings, Eleanor Pardue of North Carolina, Jo Ann (Sherm) Nance of Cridersville, Doris (Fred) Dehner of Virginia, Jeanie (Ron) Mack of New Carlisle, Lee (Phyllis) Darnell of Georgia and Pete (Cheryl) Darnell of Las Vegas.
Along with her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Darnell, a daughter-in-law, Leanne Wilson and a grandson, William Wilson.
Ruby was a 1956 graduate of Lima Senior High School and she attended Northwest Business College. She had been employed as a secretary at Lima Senior High School, retiring in 2005, she sold real estate for Yocum Realtors, she had also worked at DeHaven’s Floral and had been a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother. She was also a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in North Carolina, she was a member of the Lima Fraternal Order of Eagles Women’s Auxiliary and attended services at the Lima Salvation Army.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2012 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Major Phil Tamayo officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Family and friends may call Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima, Ohio.
