

Susan Bowdle Timmermeister, age 66, of Lima, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on October 22, 1943 to the late Bob O. & Martha Graham (Valentine) Bowdle.
She married William C. Timmermeister on August 6, 1966 at Shawnee United Methodist Church, and he survives in Lima.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Susan was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook; but most of all she loved to spend time boating and being at Indian Lake. Susan was a member of the Woodlawn Cemetery Board, Shawnee Country Club, Shawnee United Methodist Church and of the Delphian Club.
Mrs. Timmermeister was formerly an elementary school teacher in Gahanna, Ohio, a treasurer for the Lima Visiting Nurses and a member of Modern Mothers, and Junior Service League.
She is also survived by her children: Brian J. (Betsy) Timmermeister of Lima, Karin T. (Christopher) Brown of Galena, Ohio; grandchildren Berkley and Ramsey Brown, and Noah and Joel Timmermeister; her mother-in-law Virginia Z. Timmermeister of Lima and a sister-in-law Kay L. Timmermeister of Jacksonville, Florida.
She is preceded in death by a sister Linda Kathleen Fields and her father-in-law John W. Timmermeister.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Bucher to officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 8, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Road.
