

Tom Hargis, a.k.a. Gambler, 71, of Lima, died at 7:26 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, in Kindred Hospital. He was born Mar. 17, 1943, in Beckley, W.V. to Thelma Weese who preceded him in death. On Aug. 29, 1983, he married Darlene Stuber Robinson who survives.
Also surviving are six stepchildren: Robin (Jim Rowe) Robey, Penny (Butch) Adams, Doug (Renee) Robinson, Jr., Steve Robinson, John (Melissa) Robinson and Danny Robinson all of Lima; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two brothers: Boyde Weese and Barton Weese both of W.V.
Mr. Hargis retired as a supervisor from Flying J in Beaverdam. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of F.O.E. #370 and the Iron Brotherhood.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, with his stepson, Rev. Douglas Robinson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday and Tuesday, from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
