
William A. Dennison, 83, of Bellefontaine, formerly of Lima, died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Campbell House Assisted Living Facility in Bellefontaine. He was born Nov. 16, 1927, in Lima, to Floyd W. and Helen J. (Monfort) Dennison who preceded him in death.
Mr. Dennison was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees, serving in World War II. He retired from Excello and was a member of the Free Masons, Lodge #161, West Liberty.
Surviving are a daughter: Lorenia “Mic” (Ron) Parmer of Bellefontaine; sons: Wesley “Mac” Dennison and William “Bill” (Lynn) Dennison both of Lakeview; thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Leota (Jim) Henderson and Rosemary (Jim) Tate, both of Lima.
He was preceded in death by two daughters: Kathy Jo Dennison and Jackie Ranes; and daughter-in-law Margie Dennison.
Per Mr. Dennison’s wishes, he will be cremated and burial will be in Walnut Hills Cemetery, New Hampshire, Ohio.
