Dolores Castro Martinez

She graduated from Roseville High School in 1953. She married the late Henry Martinez Oct 31, 1954 and they moved to Lincoln, Ca where they raised their 4 children.

She is survived by Christina (Ken) Mikaelsen, Joaquin, Esther (Tony) Vigil, grandchildren Chance, Rae (Travis), KC (Johnathan), Joaquin Jr ( Kristie), Tasha (Kerry), Ashley (Dustin), Patrick, Jennifer (Pete), Janelle (Brett), Sabrina (Shawn), 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 1986, her son Henry Jr, and grandson Tony Vigil III.

Dolores was an active member of the St Joseph Catholic Church. She has also

been a member of several organizations- VFW Auxiliary, Native Daughters, Friends of the Lincoln Library, and Lincoln Arts to name a few. She was always donating her time for various events and causes. Her giving of herself and helping where needed has been a great example for her family.

Dolores worked for the WPUSD for 19 years and 14 years for the DMV.

Her funeral will be Friday, Aug 18th at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 280 Oak Tree Lane, Lincoln @ 10:30 AM. A lunch reception following the mass will be at the church. Graveside Ceremony will be at 1:30 at the Lincoln Cemetery, 1445 1st Street, Lincoln.
