Karen is survived by her mother, Nancy Gail Moore, preceded in death by her father, Jimmie H. Moore, maternal grandparents, Leroy and Hetty Hayden, paternal grandparents, Harold John Moore and Mary Diamond Loveland. She is survived by two sisters, Andrea Pilkay (husband) Michael, Cynthia Lynn Haley (husband) Andy, two nephews, one niece and one great-niece.
Karen had many friends including a special friend, Kim Jordan for many years. She loved animals, also enjoyed reading historical history. Karen graduated from University of Davis, with a BS in Biological Sciences with honorable mentions. She was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A private service for her family and friends will be held.
