Alice Peterson, age 97, of Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Alice was born in Logan, IA on March 23, 1924 to Leroy and Bessie Rockwell. Alice is survived by her loving daughters, Alicia Peterson and Deanna Aguilar; granddaughters Barbara (Chris) Mentgen, Renee (Noah) Rodenbeek, Jen (Rob) Friebel; great grandchildren Cody Lennen, Brandon Lennen, Caitlin Hart, Sam Chebuhar, Jarret Hornkohl, Chandler Knoke, Ima Rodenbeek, Parker Rodenbeek, Mikaiah Friebel, Matthew Friebel and Morgan Friebel; great granddaughter Scarlette Heiserman; sister Edith Christiansen (Arvada, CO); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Peterson, daughter Carol, granddaughter Brenda Chebuhar and great grandson Jacob Hornkohl. A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m., January 28, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th St. A reception will follow the service. Masks are required.
