Elder Andrew Parker, 81, of Lincoln went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 17, 2014. He was born Nov. 13, 1933 in Lonewolf, OK to James and Sophia Parker. He was the Assistant Pastor at the New Bethel Bibleway Apostolic Temple Church. He proudly served the country for over 25 years with the United States Army and then went on to work as a special agent for the Department of Defense, retiring in 2000. Andrew is survived by three sons, Ronald (Rhonda) Parker, Lincoln, NE, Andrew Jr. (Alycia) Parker, Omaha, NE, Keith Parker, Atlanta, GA; Daughter, Felicia (Melvin) Grayer, Lincoln, NE; Four sisters, Betty Paxton, Geary, OK, Joann Lewis, Orval Coteland, Venal Vick, all of Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends, and the New Bethel Bibleway Apostolic Temple Church Family of whom he will be greatly missed. He was proceeded in death by his lovely wife of 55 years, Emma Maxine Parker; Parents, James and Sophia Parker. Funeral Service: 1pm Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at the New Bethel Bibleway Apostolic Temple Church, 1990 West A St., with Bishop James H. Thompson officiating. Graveside services with Military Honors at Lincoln Memorial. Visitation: 2-4pm, Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
