Arthur G. Brown, 95, passed away peacefully in his Lincoln, NE home on July 29, 2019. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was born in Columbia, SC to Arthur Gilliam and Florie Brown. Mr. Brown served in the United States Army during World War II in 1942.
He married Olean Howell on October 10, 1953. Together they had 10 children. Mr. Brown was the pastor of Faith Apostolic Holiness Church for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Mattox and son, Arthur Brown. Survivors include his wife Olean; children Archie Brown, Aaron Brown, Michael Brown, Phyllis and (Yuell) Peterson, Melvin Brown, Lonnie and (Kym) Brown, Ronnie and (Malissa) Brown, and Sherry Brown and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
