Bechtel, Dr. Ashley Elizabeth Jones, 33, wife of Justin Bechtel, passed away Wed, April 30, 2014 in Lexington, KY. Ashley was born Mar 18, 1981 in Lincoln, NE, the daughter of Larry and Barbara Jones of Lincoln. She attended the Lincoln Public Schools, graduating from Southeast High School in 1999. She received her undergraduate degrees in Music and Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. While at NWU, she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and Mu Phi Epsilon. She received her Masters and Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. She was currently working as a geriatric psychologist for the V.A. Hospital in Lexington. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a sister, Whitney Jones and fiancé Nathan Paulson, Albion, NE, and parents-in-law Larry and Marilyn Bechtel, Beaver Crossing, NE. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bartholomew and Josephine Elich and Virgil and Betty Jones. Visitation will be Saturday, May 10, 9:00-11:00 am, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St., with a graveside service at 11:30 am at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
