A final note from Barbara
To my dear friends and family:
“Each one of you has meant so much to me. Friend and family have been very important in my life.
As a young girl I remember being concerned about being alone. Even with caring parents, two sisters, and one brother you can feel lonely. Still the need to help others and learn was always present.
I worked for the USDA soil conservation service and created a lifelong appreciation of maps and agricultural conservation of the land.
My volunteer years at Joslyn were important.
I am especially grateful for the two wonderful daughters who have been the light of my life. They worked so hard to get their education and raise their families. My hope is that my grandchildren and great grandchildren appreciate their parents and keep on learning throughout their lives.
Thank you for many wonderful and interesting moments.”
