Chesley "Bruce" Robinson, age 92 passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Bruce was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to Walter and Carrie (Gunn) Robinson on July 10, 1930. Bruce was a long-time farmer in the Bennet area, a livestock nutrition teacher at Beatrice Community College, and in sales with ADM.
Visitation: Thursday, from 4:pm to 7pm, December 29, 2022, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE 68512. Funeral service: Friday, 10am also at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Service will be livestreamed at lincolnfh.com. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Bennet Community Church.
Survived by wife, Gladys Myers Robinson of Edmond, Oklahoma; son, Larry (Linda Helton) Robinson of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughters: Dr. Carol Spencer of Ames, Iowa; Susan (LaVerne) Dowding of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Julie (Mickey) Williams of McCloud, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Ashley (Jon) Buller; Chesley (Sarah) Spencer; Alex Spencer; Elizabeth (Perry) Gillaspie; Catherine (Charlie) Griesen; Kiick (Zoe) Dowding; April Dowding; Jordan (Meredith) Halvorsen; Wade (Sara) Halvorsen; Hannah (Mark) Bartel and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Carrie Gun Robinson; brothers: Clayton Robinson; Lewis Dale; sister Beverly; granddaughter Heather Farren and son-in-law Carl Spencer.
